Cassiterite

Cassiterite is a support-type gem, formerly part of a two-gem fusion warrior. She met and began a very problematic relationship with a noble Pink Topaz, and they experimented with fusion. During the war she left to join the crystal gems, but PT did not follow her, leaving her heartbroken.

She became the leader of a group in the crystal gems called "Cass' Commandos" Made up of herself, Grossular, and some other gems. Her gem was cracked during the war, and she ran away from the battle. Later, her gem was found and repaired by Steven and the Crystal Gems, who helped her forgive herself for failing Rose Quartz.

Cassiterites are strongest when fused with another, and create massive tin sheilds to protect other gems. In a non-war situation they act as bodyguards, as they are good protectors. If they fuse with more than one other cassiterite, the fusion can become unstable.

Her and Cassiterite can fuse to make Paragonite.
