Wilken SMITH

Wilken was born Wilken Norwën, in Greenland near the little town of Nuuk in a family of four : his mother, his half-sister Arian and half-brother Alexander. Since he was born, he was told that his dad was a troublemaker and the man who brought hate into the family. He supposedly died at sea during a harsh winter. He grew up with an hateful mother and brother who couldn't see in him anyone else than his dad who they both hated and even more since he looked so much like him. His unstable mother quickly became physically and mentally abusive on his last son. She used to lock him up in a small and dark room for hours, developping a claustrophobia and fear of the darkness and loneliness in the little guy. She also pushed his older brother to punish him by cutting his thights, a memory he still keeps as scars on his body. Soon, his brother will also try to get rid of him after he descovered his homosexuality, and the day he shot him marked a point of no return for Wilken.

Years later, his sister Arian had to move to England, leaving his little brother in a hell house which he couldn't stand anymore. During his years of highschool, he started drinking, smoking and even taking drugs to try and make is life bearable. He quickly became addicted to it and got hated even more by his mother and brother for that. Each fight he had with her, each abuse was breaking him more and more, to the point he couldn't stand it anymore. It was late the day it happened, his mother came in his room, angry as always. He ended up shooting her as an act of self defense and got away with it, but Alexander never forgave him for doing such an inhuman act and for the police to set him free. Released by an enormous weight, Wilken wanted to start over, and by doing so reunited with his sister in England. His goal was now to become a cop.

Wilken and Arian lived together for a while, her taking car of him, trying to heal his trauma and him doing what he could to succeed at school. They both changed their family name to call themselves "Smith" Everything seemed to go perfectly, he even stopped using drugs... For a while. He entered Scotland Yard at 20 and was very good at his job. Years after years, he was gaining ranks and got along with his team mates : the twins Abberline. Hadrien was his first real boyfriend, but also a manipulator and they were both extremly jealous and possessive. Wilken was unfaithfull and so was Hadrien. Their relation was way too toxic but they stayed together for years, until the big treason.

During his years a cop, Wilken was playing both sides. He started to use drugs again and got close to dealers and even more : cartels. He got into it and was giving them informations about his current investigations, messing with the leads and protecting the cartel in exchange for a promised good position. He aspired to more than being a simple cop among others. He wanted to be in the spotlight, be important. He was 25 years old inspector in Scotland Yard when he revealed himself during a mission with his boyfriend and team mate Hadrien. He tried to kill him and thought he did for a long time, then left Scotland Yard to join the cartel. When he realised the boss was messing with him, he lost it and took over with Liam Min, the boss's former right arm who became Wilken's. Then, he made the cartel grow bigger and bigger to the point it became internationally respected, mainly by secuding the other big heads of the domain as well as politics. On the side he also grew a cover insurance company in which Harry Loghart was working. Ambitious as he was, he got involved in politics, mainly within the Ministry, as well as in medias. He became in important and loved personality in England as a "young british entreprenor". As he gained success, he also stopped taking drugs and "prefered to be addicted to sex" are his words. Liam saw an opportunity to take over again but this time it failed as Wilken got too smart and was sent to prison before he could kill him.

After Liam's treason, Wilken chose his employees wisely and didn't give his trust to a lot of men. He hired Harry as his right arm, and when he met Edmund Everhart who was at the time a buttler, he felt like he could trust him too and hired him as his personal spy. At 30 years old, Wilken made encounters that marked a turning point to his life. First, he met Oïsin Griffin, an MI6 agent who was working on his case and wanted to see behind bars more than anything. He quickly grew fond of the man as he was interesting and felt like he was the same as him but chose the good side. They were both very attracted to each other since the beginning despite being ennemies. He will also meet Matthew Whitefield among with his right arm Simon Fenwick. Matthew is at the head of the biggest british mafia and Wilken was seeing him as his rival since the start. He was older than him, had more experience and seemed unwavering, he was a big challenge for him but his pride made him want to show him who was the best of them two. He didn't restrain any attractiveness with any of them, on the opposite he enjoyed seducing them to feel more powerful. Simon on his side was deeply in love with Wilken, having worked on his case when he was Oïsin's teammate before joining Matthew. They dated for a while, mainly because Wilken loved to be the center of someone's attention, but he was unfaithful and the relationship didn't last long.

After years, the relationships he had with the 2 men grew into more fondness. He couldn't hide his love for Oïsin anymore, he knew they had a very special bond. As for Matthew, he couldn't get himself to kill him and had to admit to himself he was liking their friendship and rivalry that pushed both of them to give their best. They started to collaborate and help each other against common ennemies, such as Wilken's next encounter and probably the weirdest : Lysandre Cedarwood, an old retired criminologist leaving in a manor outside of town, obsessed with the idea of having a "criminal" collection and mainly Matthew. Wilken was jealous of his friend for being in the spotlight and took enormous risks to get Lysandre to be obsessed with him instead as the man was unpredictible and definitly scary, even for him. They had affairs and it's probably the reason why Wilken always comes back to him despite the fear, as well as his need for danger. Wilken got in touch with his older brother again when this one became a father as he wanted to be a real part of the life of his nephew. That's where he met his brother-in-law Jeffrey, another gay uncle to their nephew Andrew with who he gets along really well.

Through Lysandre, Wilken will get back in touch with another unsuspected part of his family... His father Daerwen, and Lysander's ex-boyfriend when they were in highschool. That's how he learnt his father didn't die at sea but instead studied in England and became an author. His father also had a wife, Luce, with who he had a daughter, France, living in Italy. Daerwen wasn't at all the man described by his dead mother, he was a sweet and kind man with respect for his family and who, when he discovered his son's existence, didn't hesitate a second before including him in the family. Luce also welcomed him dearly and he now seems her as his real mother and the only one he ever had. He ended up getting married with Oïsin after years of loving each other. Wilken knows deep down that he will never find someone like him again who he trusts and loves this much. In the meantime, Oïsin became a private detective. His best man was Matthew, and they married at Oïsin's manor in Scotland, near the coast. It's a day he will never forget and that he never thought would happen in his life : having next to him his husband, his best friend and also his family.
