A primal-like being created by Hydaelyn Herself, who possesses the body of a man who died 10 years ago. He came into the world with only the goal of destroying any sort of darkness and being the hero that Eorzea needed at everyone's beck and call, but slowly learned emotions and gained a will of his own that changed him drastically.
