Andrew

During one of his night shifts, it was the usual boring job he had to do until a co-worker he knew runs up to him in a panic, telling him a good friend of his got lost in a so-called "haunted railroad". Andrew was very obviously not buying it but he was intrigued, it was certainly more fun than what he had going on currently. Entertaining this person he goes out to the woods.. 

After aimlessly wondering for a solid ten minutes he makes the decision to go back home as a way to escape his job, however one minute into walking back he happen to step on certain train tracks nearly falling over not noticing it was even there.. It's then some really strange phenomenon occur..

The forest around him making seemingly ghostly noises, twigs suddenly snapping and the shivers and gut feelings that somebody's right behind him. One minute of mindless walking to get out quickly spiralled into sprinting to get out of the woods but the more Andrew ran down the forest the less trees appeared and more train-tracks followed.

Trying to catch his breath he put a stop to his running. He had ended up leaning against a run down train in an incredibly foggy area.. A solid one minute break and Andrew looked around; the fog had cleared! But it looked like a figure was approaching him from the distance. Immediately he waved and asked for a way out only to find out he was very clearly talking to an entity that wasn't human. 

Andrew, freaking out backs away but the entity greets himself as Charlie. They make exchanges and the reason he can see Charlie right now was because he touched something that belongs to the dead. That being the abandoned train that he leaned on moments ago. Andrew now practically screaming on the inside tries to exit the conversation until Charlie mentions his job offer as a train conductor. He wants to start his train again but he needs a partner to help him out.

Charlie offers riches and fortune in exchange he rides his train and gives him his soul because "sorry kid, it's just a thing us demons gotta do". But Andrew doesn't want to be rich or wealthy he just wants something interesting in his life. So after thinking it over for a bit he agrees. Lending his soul which didn't really do much except make him sneeze. But that meant [starting tomorrow] Andrew would have a new job. A train conductor... For ghosts!!
