Adder, despite being named after a deadly snake, is anything but. He is rather skittish, and while he enjoys small talk and casual social interaction, he shies away from deeper conversation, as he usually deems it "interrogating" or "accusatory". He doubts whether others have good intentions or not, and tends to believe that he is being lied to or conned. Despite this, he works better with others, as he recognizes that he can't defend himself well on his lonesome due to his small size and lack of training. He is hardworking and loyal, but only as it benefits him to be.

Adder was born to a litter of three to his loner mother, a queen by the name of Tulip. He was the runt of his litter, and therefore, the underdog of the group of siblings-- Despite this, for the first six moons of his life, he lived well and generally got along with his family. However, upon reaching seven moons old, Tulip decided it was time for her children to depart on their own, and they were sent on their way. He remained with his siblings for another two moons before they eventually went their three separate ways, and he's been alone ever since.
