While Alex existed for hundreds of years as a messenger spirit across worlds, as far as spirits go he adapted extremely well to the modern day form of communication. He's moved on from letters and carrier pigeons and now fancies himself a god of wifi, as ridiculous as that seems. Alex gives off an extremely strong wifi signal (yeah, really), and like Bao, will offer a magical gift for a certain price. Alex manages a message board between the dead and the living and has managed to recruit famous historical figures and members of ancient cultures to chat on his forum, as well as more newly decesased individuals. He'll give anyone an account on the secret site if they acquire something for him from his online wishlist, which changes from day to day. In terms of dieties asking for offerings in exchange for a magical boon, Alex is pretty chill. Most of what he asks for are rare top-level MMO weapons and armor sets, 6IV legendary shiny pokemon, and other extremely rare video game drops that he couldn't be bothered to put in the endless hours himself to acquire. Other times he'll ask for incredibly specific real-life items (once he asked for a potato chip with an uncanny resemblance to Chris Pratt). While the items he asks for may seem extremely useless, finding items on his 'wishlist' is never easy and many quickly find themselves wishing they could just give a year of their life, their soul or just a shitload of cash to communicate with the dead. Still, Alex gets a kick out of world leaders and powerful billionaires frantically digging their way through hundreds of Lays chip bags to find the one chip that looks the most like Starlord.

Like Bao, Alex can also shift into a domestic cat form, as well as a humanoid form. Seeing as he's existed for hundreds of years, his eyes have not always been the weird wifi monstrosities he chooses to have now, and he can morph them to standard blue eyes if he wants to.
