Laceweaver was born in a basic nuclear family and had a sibling named Silkywillow, who he has always had a close bond with. Ever since kithood, the two did everything together. Playing, napping, even speaking! As kits, they both got ticks to give them matching folded ears, however their parents always fretted over the result. They fulfilled the clique of the perfect sibling duo, and even to this day, the two are very close. Silkywillow checks up on and gossips with Laceweaver whenever he's busy, and the medicine cat will go on outings during her patrol times, where he’ll meet up and chat. As a kit though, Laceweaver had always been the sort to look for the smaller details, as well as was generally interested in what no one else deemed as significant. He became fully immersed in flowers, which led to his interest in herbology and medicine in the end. He always liked to pair flowers he thought were pretty together, making mini medical bouquets. The medicine cat of the time had been starting to reach retirement, so she decided that Laceweaver would be the best replacement after her time. He got selected as the medicine cat apprentice, however he wasn't ready to have his hobby of flower gathering become his entire livelihood.

The medicine cat of the time, Silentbreeze, hadn't realized the tom’s interest in plants had purely been for fun, and they quickly grew tired of the tom’s botanical crafting. Pretty early on, she forbad him from using the herbs in a non-medical sense, believing the time he wasted making these arrangements could've been used for studying or helping around the den. Losing his outlit for creativity only meant that he had to search for another means of relaxation, and then his intrigue of spiders formed. After stumbling upon a web littered with dew drops, the tabby started searching more and more for cobwebs. He also just likes the arachnids in general, specifically for their ability to create such gorgeous yet sturdy webs. Silentbreeze was fine with this, since cobwebs were one of their most used resources, so she allowed for the tom to leave the den to explore as much as he wanted. Always returning with bountiful amounts of silk, he started to use access webs to bound together resources, or create a strange visualization he deemed as “art”. Since it was very easy to clean up the art, Silentbreeze permitted this as well. Even with her generally strict nature, Silentbreeze and Laceweaver still grew close as medicine cats, and Silentbreeze doesn't regret selecting Laceweaver to replace them. 

After Silentbreeze’s retirement, Laceweaver started to try and actually connect with cats in Stormclan, since he originally stuck to just Silentbreeze and Silkywillow by this point. Although these results proved to yield little reward, for his social awkwardness usually resulted in awkward chuckles, side-glances, or straight up ignorance of his presence. This wasn't always the case though, and nowadays, he's become immensely talkative amongst his clan. Almost a little too talkative even. However, now as the sole medicine cat, Laceweaver luckily has settled into his position, even though it's not been very long since his mentor’s retirement. He checks up on her in the elders’ den, and ironically will bring silk-bound flowers for her to enjoy. She keeps these bundles beside their moss bed, secretly cherishing his generosity.

 Appearance: Laceweaver is a cherry-grey tabby tom with mint green eyes and pointed, flopped-over ears. (he/him)

 Personality: Laceweaver, although quite the doormat, is a very hardworking and dedicated medicine cat. He’s very friendly and open with his clanmates, and sometimes his attempts for socializing are a bit obvious. With a never ending thirst for attention, he can very frequently be seen spreading gossip or news for interactions. Even so, he really is a tom with a heart full of gold, and he puts others best interests above his own. He's usually worried to witt's end about his patients, even if he's fully aware of the direness of their situation. He's just always been a worry-wort and can't help it, although he isn't half-bad at masking said worries for the better of others. He's not the sort to doubt others or think negatively of them, however it seems this ideology has extended to his view on other clan cats, for he thinks quite positively of the other clans. Even rogues and loners don't bother him, although he isn't very secretive about his unbiased point of view.
