Marina

Silver is a chemical element with the symbol Ag (from the Latin argentum, derived from the Proto-Indo-European h₂erǵ: "shiny" or "white") and atomic number 47. A soft, white, lustrous transition metal, it exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal. The metal is found in the Earth's crust in the pure, free elemental form ("native silver"), as an alloy with gold and other metals, and in minerals such as argentite and chlorargyrite. Most silver is produced as a byproduct of copper, gold, lead, and zinc refining.

Marina is a freelancing jack-of-all-trades engineer and technician, working as an independent contractor. She's currently stationed at Stellar Station--although her current positon there is not permanent, as she may get transferred to another system or station if a position opens up, and her duties are needed at those locations.

She used to work as a combat engineer for the Gempire, but slowly fell into disillusionment from it due to having to be the person who repairs faulty, hastily-placed infrastructure, and experiencing combat-related trauma firsthand.

Despite her disillusionment, trauma, and other untreated mental illnesses that she has under the hood--Marina cares for her friends and is willing to die for them if she has to. Marina also generally, wants to help people out with their problems, whether it's technical, or personal.
