He and Ken were always attached at the hip as kids. You never knew much about him, but he always seemed to be afraid of something. You heard rumors that his father hit him and his mother was constantly drunk. He eventually followed in Ken's footsteps, dropping out of high school and getting involved with gangs, but he seemed to fall deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole the older he got. As a teenager he was kicked out of his home and couch surfed for a long time, leading him down a dark path of drugs and illegal activity. His addiction overtook him for a long time. Eventually, though, he was able to find help and though it took several tries, he was able to become rehabilitated and turned his life around. He assissted Ken in opening up his mechanic shop and now runs it alongside his childhood friend.

Waylon is a very cheerful and optimistic person. He is outgoing and loves meeting knew people. Despite his past, he likes to see the good in others, but can be too quick to trust. People often seen him as charismatic and warm, perhaps the exact opposite of his friend and business partner, Ken. Because of this, he usually handles the more social aspects of the business.
