He smells like charcoal and slightly charred wood. As others have stated, this Hoshi specializes in cooking juicy meets on an outdoor barbecue pit. This can be any kind of meat, from sweet pork to gigantic scaled fishes. Their home is in deep, thick forested areas; they will rarely leave the Forest zone. Although they do enjoy the mountains quite a bit, they will sit at the base of the volcano and borrow coals or lava from Kyoka. However the tundra and polar regions are draining for them, so they stay away from the snow even though their fur it thick enough. They just don't really have a tolerance to the cold!

Original Description by Kel-Del: This Hoshibuki smells just like it's namesake, probably due to it's love of cooking juicy meats on an outdoor barbecue pit. They enjoy finer things, collecting rich and beautiful textiles to decorate it's home and fashion simple garments. This Hoshibuki is eager to please, but takes offense easily - if you aren't careful, you may be a 'guest' at his next barbecue!
