Hawthorne

STORY

Hawthorne spent most of his life on the outskirts of Unova, delivering mail for the surrounding villages with his delivery partner Pekka, an Accelgor. He prided himself in being the fastest and most efficient messenger, spending most of his time dashing back and forth through the forest and becoming a well-known figure within the community. However, after the murder of Unova's leader, Queen Perry, Hawthorne's life transformed into a chaotic whirlwind. Shortly after the news was released, he has his first meeting with Pharaoh, Burnout, Chiluly and Chevali, who later become his traveling partners and closest friends. The group of five set out across Unova in search of the mysterious assassin, intent on gaining the riches and rewards that come with their apprehension.

After weeks of adventuring, Hawthorne and his friends finally corner the murderer, but disaster strikes. A supernatural event sends the group flying through dimensional space and... back into Unova. This Unova is different, however, with new allies- and new villains- waiting for them on the other side. If Hawthorne wants to get home, he's going to have to cooperate with these new faces to battle against an even bigger evil than before.

PERSONALITY/TRIVIA/ETC.

To most, Hawthorne appears as a very peppy, upbeat individual. It's difficult to bring him down, and sometimes his overflowing energy can cause more problems than solutions! He loves to socialize- whether it be his friends, family or just some passerby- but he's not always the best at listening. He mostly just loves to talk, but that doesn't mean he isn't empathetic and caring for those closest to him.

However, he's not always as bright and bubbly as he seems- deep down, he does still struggle with himself, his surroundings, and others, but he feels he can't tell the others about this because he doesn't want them to worry. He wants to be strong, and brave, and fierce, but he wasn't raised on a freezing mountain or amongst skillful warriors like some of his friends. He has a hard time coming to terms with his personal worth due to his habit of comparing himself to others.

Within his family of five, Hawthorne is closest to Pharaoh, who he percieves as a father figure! Initially, Pharaoh was... less than enthused by this interpretation, but as time went on the Cofagrigus became more and more protective of him. After meeting the Pokemon from the alternate Unova, Hawthorne also quickly bonds with Rayzor and Golurk, who he admires and sees in an almost big-brotherly light. 

He named himself after his father, the late Hawthorne Senior, who was Hawthorne's biggest role model and supporter throughout his childhood. (So I guess he's technically Hawthorne Jr. but that's a mouthful, nobody knew his dad so they all just call him Hawthorne)
