Ten

Ten is nothing if not evasive about his life before college. Going only by what appears to be his first name, Ten works as a journalist in Kismet City. Astoundingly, at such a young age, he is one of the best writers in his team, and it's a fact he knows well. He has an interesting relationship with his boss, Lelle Packard, from which he usually is given the best picks from the city's news. He picks up a modest wage, and lives alone in a small house in the north of the city. He also writes a blog in which he talks sparingly about his adolescence, in the vaguest possible terms. It can be suggested it wasn't the happiest time.

While shockingly anxious in demeanour, with a nervous habit of stuttering and tugging at his shirtsleeves, Ten is particularly confident in his own abilities, and has the slightest hint of a cocky streak. He is deeply intelligent, and is prone to completely losing focus as he analyses a situation, but naturally, he is just as easily prone to outright panic because of this. He also has a thing about touching. His many idiosyncrasies ensure that most who meet him see him as a pretty weird kid.

After the successful release of his partial exposé on the criminal Dennet Niks, his boss has tasked him with finding further information on the nightdweller, pairing him up with the detective Yuie Indra. While he is enthusiastic about the idea, his aversion grows the more he uncovers. Some would wonder if he has something to hide...
