Bean Nighe

A very bubbly young woman who usually thinks in terms of combat and risktaking instead of banal shit like "morals" and "avoiding trouble". Also known as the "Crystal Murder Fairy", because she's like the tooth fairy, except with horrible death instead of money, and for non-sleeping adults instead of children. She should not be confused for an actual child, as that is one of the very few things that could make her angry.

She's permanently surrounded by a very thin but very strong layer of diamond-like shielding as a last ditch defense. It will most likely blunt attacks that get through, rather than stop them. It is great for staying clean during battle, though. Her crystals are created out of a quartz-like substance more or less unique to her. She usually converts them out of dirt, although she can synthesize crystals out of thin air, which is a lot harder. She can also manipulate most solid materials, although with much less skill than her unique crystals. Her weapon of choice is made of these crystals, and what kind of weapon it is usually varies widely, although her most common form of attack is simple thin spikes of crystal flung around at high speed.

Despite spending most of her time looking for trouble, Bean is very difficult to anger and will happily play with insults, even about her short height. She usually laughs away stressful situations or just goes and does something else. There are very few ways to set her off, and two are mistaking her for a child or hurting an actual child.

In addition to violence, Bean enjoys picking flowers, sculpture, practical jokes, and pretty dresses. She is also quite skilled in architecture and engineering despite a lack of interest, suggesting some kind of compulsory training.

Bean is very OCD about keeping her clothes clean. Her crystalline body-armor usually keeps the gore and dirt out, and it isn't uncommon to see her walking out of scenes of mass carnage with not a drop of blood on her. Of course, soiled clothing is much less pleasant than usual when she ends up with "flavor sealed in" by her crystalline shielding.

Also: The crystals on top of her head are growing out of her skull (very much intentionally). Those are not hair decorations. She is teh crazeh.
