Pallette

An old friend of Encore's, Pallette is the person Encore is currently staying with during the events of acid's second arc. Though Pallette wasn't a permanent member of Encore's circus family during Encore's father's death, she was around during the times Encore's mother was still alive- and constantly shielded Encore from her abuse. After Encore was sent away to the Academy, she felt extreme remorse and regret that she had not guarded her better, and became a pessimistic, miserable entertainer.

Her new-found sadness was turned into a joke for the circus- as sad clowns had seem to become all the rage- and her gimmick became being pelted with paint guns by an audience as she either sobbed or moped.

After the escape from the academy, Encore returned to the circus- thinking that it was the only place she belonged. The rest of the entertainers accepted her back warmly and Pallette offered her a place to stay. Even with Encore back, Pallette's general disposition didn't change. She remains a pessimist and is always sad about something- but Encore does her best to cheer her up- becoming a much more positive person herself.
