Internet? On your TV? Sounds pretty cool! At least, that’s what Phil thinks. Being the supposed long lost son of Odysseus, the first home console, he has a lot to live up to and does... exactly none of that. He spends most of his time on the internet or by bothering his roommates. He may or may not be completely stupid, actually.
Phil was rescued by the “Fifth-Gen Roommates” after being physically thrown into a dumpster by Microsoft executives around 2001. What was originally thought to be a good decision (since another person could help with the rent) turned out to be... far from that. He gets along with everyone, although they’re not sure if they get along with him. (64 seems to be infatuated with him, though...)
Since he spends all his free time online (under the name MAT972), especially after his service switched to MSN TV and eventually shut down, Phil has come to know Casper pretty well. The two usually roleplay on long-abandoned forums and chatrooms for one reason or another. Aside from Cass, Phil’s tried to fit in with his roommates, but had different responsibilities as a representative of a non-gaming service. These days, he’s completely retired and in search of his father, Odysseus. Right before Nix came looking for him, he left with Geo and 64 in search of Oddy. Is he truly the descendent of the first console? Probably not, but he’s dumb enough to believe anything.
