The leader of Mountainclan and oldest of all the leaders; his mother named him for his tail's stripes looking like a feather. It was not an Eagle feather. His mother, bless her still-beating heart, does not know what an eagle looks like. In a secret relationship with Stormclan senior warrior Cedarfall, and firmly believes as a result that half-clan relationships are both necessary and bound to happen - however, certain responsibilities still need to be taken. It was these responsibilities that he hoped to teach Nightmask when he claimed Moondapple; unfortunately, he sees now that this plan has backfired as Nightmask will blame everyone but himself.

He wishes he could do better for Moondapple, really, but there is only so much he can do in face of his clan's traditions.
