• Hunts other monsters for gold and fame, she leans more human than other creatures, but to most of the towns and cities she visits she’s viewed as less so. She could feel torn about this difference and even choose to be more of a protector of creatures, but a cat has to eat and monster hunting is a lucrative business since most monsters inhabit ruins or collect treasure.
• She’s selfish in following her desires, her needs come first but that doesn’t mean she’s unable to care for others. Sphynx have long lives, so strong attachments aren’t ideal when you are surrounded by mortals who may only live 40-80 years on average.
• She started as a solo hunter, gained a reputation and notoriety for taking down creatures other hunters struggle to, eventually started up her own company of hunters and now travels on and off with the group, leaving for lesser contracts and joining back when a big bounty is promised and she needs the extra assistance.
• This tendency to leave and come back means most of the work is left to her second in command and she is viewed as being fairly aloof among the other company members. Most new joiners don’t even realize she’s the one who founded and leads the company on big hunts until they either take part in a large hunt or stick their foot in their mouth some way.
• Is very collected and silent among the group, but when she is insulted she can be ferocious and one quickly learns to be wary of where her blades are if they choose to be short or flippant with her. Several of the company hunters can attest to this and even more random merchants, drunken pub-goers, and unfortunate pickpockets have far more tales of the vicious sphynx that sometimes come through town.
• Her weapons of choice are spears, crossbows, and curved blades (daggers and short swords). The first is preferred for hunts, the others are for defensive purposes, crossbow especially is helpful for long range and she’s competent with all three after decades out in the world fighting men and monsters equally.
