Ayuh'a Tayuun

Born in a small reclusive village located in Silvertear Falls, Ayuh'a is the only son and middle child of a family of five. Ayuh'a spends most of his time in his Free Company room reading and researching botany and other ways he could improve as a Scholar. On the days that Eos and Selene convince him to leave his room, he can be found at a flower shop that his mother runs in New Gridania.

History

Born as a male with dual-colored eyes and horrible health, Ayuh'a was dubbed as a demon child-- treated poorly by everyone in his village but his family.

Ayuh'a's adventure originally began as a plan to experience what life was like outside of his village, which quickly turned into a journey of medical pursuit when he received word that his mother had come down with a mysterious illness. The illness quickly spread to the rest of the villagers, yet surprisingly Ayuh'a remained unaffected despite his surprisingly frail health until this point. This led the village to blame him as the cause of the illness, accusing him of the use of black magic and quickly exiling him and his family. His family now resides in New Gridania peacefully living out the remaining days that they have left, while Ayuh'a works endlessly to find a cure.

Personality

While he prefers to keep up a cheery clueless persona, Ayuh'a is highly intelligent and insightful with a silver tongue; easily allowing him to get what he wants when he wants it. This was particularly useful for him during his travels and helped him and his companions get out of trouble numerous times. His chaotic energy has died down over the years, yet he is very much still a kitten that does not take good care of himself; often going days without ample sleep or food simply because he was absorbed in his work. Though fairly friendly and laid-back, Ayuh'a does get serious and angry during important matters or if he is interrupted during his work. Ayuh'a is very aware of his appearance but he does not pursue any of his admirers; running away from them as soon as he knows they wish to pursue him romantically. He prefers to stay closed off with few attachments, and thus not many truly know the real Ayuh'a but rather the charade he puts up.

Trivia

• His nickname is "Aya" [pronounced eye-yeah]
• He has zero sense of fashion and is only passable because his older sister, Oko, is a stylist and designer.
• He has heterochromia: his left eye is greenish-yellow and his right one is a light purplish-blue
• He was a sickly child and was never able to leave the house often. Even now, if it gets too cold for him his cough will come back.
• He does not move around in his sleep, but if he falls asleep holding anything/someone they are stuck there until he wakes up.
• He has thanatophobia: fear of death, but for his friends and loved ones. Because of this, if he hasn't seen one of them for over a month, he immediately gives them a tight hug and head-bunts them. He won't let go for at least 10 minutes.
• He loves everything that his friends give him and cherishes them-- even if it was a pebble from a stream, he'll turn it into a pendant. 
  • The flower crown that he's constantly wearing is from his friend Ahrih'a, and he preserved it with magic so that the flowers would never wilt.
