Marina

Marina was one of many children raised in an orphanage. While in the orphanage she was one of the bullies to the other children. Being older than many of the children there by 5 years she would prey on the odd ones and got into many fights. In particular one that stood out to her was a Sabertooth girl named Lyla. Lyla was socially shy which made her an easy target for Mari to pester since she wouldn't fight back. Things changed when a Fennec Naga boy named Cassidy started to defend Lyla from her bullying. Mari would end up fighting Cassidy on the daily. He was her sworn rival and she couldn't stand losing to him. One day their fighting took it too far and the Orphanage Caretaker got injured. Both Cassidy and Mari were forced out of the orphanage and were sent to Juvie. She spent 2 years in Juvie getting her act straightened out with Cassidy. Once they both were let out she would stay in touch with Cassidy. Turning a rivalry into a friendship through their experiences. The two of them would remain together as a odd ball duo. Getting into mischief and having each other's backs. For 8 years the duo would remain together until one day Cassidy discovers that Lyla, the girl he protected 10 years ago was looking for him. Though Mari didn't view him as a romantic interest the thought of him seeing another girl infuriated her. She has made it her goal to remind him that they are a team together and that he must let the events of the past go and let the girl just be a stranger.
