Profile

Aodhán doesn’t really match, in personality, what you would assume just by looking at him. If anything he’s a perfect example of never judging a book by its cover; he seems intimidating and harsh simply based on a glance, but that couldn’t really be further from the truth.
That is to say, he’s… actually quite kind-spirited! He certainly always means the best, at least. He’s the kind of guy with an honest, genuine heart, though it can get tangled up and lost in translation simply due to how his mind works. This is quite simply because, at best, he’s… well, blunt. He sees things very matter-of-factly, and his mannerisms actively reflect this.
While he certainly means well, he has a tendency to… be blunt. He can’t read fine lines and often misses social cues entirely, which leads to him seeming… not very empathetic at all. Despite his good intentions, he does seem to often speak out of line and offend people, whether he wants to or not. He certainly doesn’t talk much — he’s more of the quiet type — but when he does, it’s probably something harsh, and not always intentionally.
If he gets close enough to someone, he definitely goes out of his way to keep them happy and safe — he’s still an older brother figure at heart, and always will be. But due to how things turned out, he can’t really handle crowds nor overly active people, at least not usually or for too long. He’s anti-social without a doubt, and tends to stray away from crowds and do his own thing without the input of others. He isn’t exactly always surrounded by friends.
But he is friendly, and he does try to smile when he can! He enjoys knowing he’s done well, though it is hard for him to do simply due to his inability to pick up on just about every indirect hint ever — if your emotions aren’t obvious, he probably won’t understand it.
But— he tries. He tries, and he doesn’t give up, because he’s stubborn. Once he sets his mind to something, he won’t falter.
It isn’t always a good thing.
