basic info:
the host of aster's roller rink. since the rink is only open in the evening, they'll often help out in other areas of the pizzaplex during the day (particularly the daycare), or even just wander around and hand out candy that they keep in the zippered part of their tail. their eyes and yellow spots are glow in the dark!
they usually don't wear their pants, instead opting for just the leotard in order to avoid anything getting caught in their skates. they will wear them, however, when in the daycare, or just working with smaller kids in general-- this is because the puffy, bottom part is made of a stuffed plush material, making for either a soft impact if a kid crashes into them, or for a good pillow if someone wants to sit/lay on their lap!
gameplay dynamics:
if you hear aster nearby, it's best to hide right away-- you won't be able to outrun them on their skates. they're usually found in the roller rink, fazcade and mazercize areas. after you're banned from the daycare, they can also be seen patrolling the surrounding area (pick-up, theatre, etc.)
there are two options in late game when it comes to aster: decommissioning them, or reversing the effects of vanny's virus and recruiting their help.
when decommissioned, their skates can be taken to upgrade freddy with, making him faster. after this, you'll be able to run away from them instead of just hiding, as they aren't very fast without their skates (or their lower legs-- they end up having to crawl).
if you want to help them instead, and get their help in return, there's a secret item you have to find first. in the roller rink locker room, there will be an old poster of aster and their previous pet/work partner (a little pink poodle named glitter, who went missing years ago). if you take a picture of it with the fazcam, the flash will reveal a dark spot, which, when the poster is peeled back, turns out to be a small hidey-hole. while the player cannot crawl inside, looking in the hole will reveal a gift box with glitter's collar inside. next time you run into aster, drop this on the floor before you hide. when they come across it, memories of their lost pet will cause the virus to glitch, allowing aster to regain their own consciousness. after this, you'll be able to leave your hiding spot and talk to them.
once you've talked to aster and recruited their help, they'll be able to patrol the pizzaplex for you! sometimes they collect items for you, but usually they'll just warn you via your fazwatch if there's danger nearby, or in an area you're trying to enter. they don't seem to know when vanny is around, though...
