King the Mallowolf

King is a sector three blue mallow sample from planet Marmellanon combined with a Mexican Grey Wolf sample. They were genetically modified and created in a lab in King’s Hospital on Earth, which is how they got their name. This means they are not a native Marmellanonian. King was modified to be more palatable to Earth creatures. This was done by genetically removing their flank magic pouches and limiting them to only have one antennae, although it was later cut off. King’s antennae was shaped like a moon.

King is not acquainted with many people. They often go to Honey, the mother Mallowolf, for advice. As well as speaking with Honey, they are friends with Kyle Marell. Kyle is another modified Mallowolf, known for being the DJ for esteemed Punk Band, BandDog.

Personality wise, King is known to be peppy and upbeat yet shy and quiet. They are prone to bouts of depression and often fear that due to their identity issues and poor communication skills they will be alone forever. The only way for a Mallowolf to die is to dissolve in water, and King is well enough to keep from dissolving themselves. Although, due to the fact that Mallowolves melt when experiencing extreme emotions, they have to eat marshmallows to retain their fluff. Other than this, King is prideful and open about their interests, often not able to hide things they enjoy. They do get discouraged when they are shamed for their interests, but don’t often let that get to them. King, despite not being the best at communicating long-term, can make friends/find someone to talk to almost anywhere.

King is most commonly seen wearing a purple turtleneck sweater and jeans. They also use their magic to lightly float small crowns above their head in an homage to their name. Almost never is King without a crown of some sort. King will also wear hoodies and tshirts casually, and will dress up in dresses or other fancy wear occasionally. Another accessory King commonly wears is a collar and/or collar tag. 

King has many identity issues, being created and raised in a lab, they often don’t feel they fit in with the natives of Earth or native Marmellanonians. Their counter to these issues is to overly combine both of these realities. They will almost exclusively write in the Marmellanonian alphabet, use their magic to form corporeal wings which they openly flaunt, and will often chirp and squeak native Marmellanonian calls. Yet they are registered as a citizen of their country and live on their own, wear many clothes that display either a ‘K’ or written ‘King’ (such as their collar and collar tag), and have cut off their antennae. They are very keen on expressing that they are “King” who is not from Earth or Marmellanon, which is why when they wear a turtleneck and can’t display their collar properly, they attach their collar tag to the neck of their sweater. They also sometimes state they are “King of the Wolves” as a way to counteract being grouped with either Earthlings of Marmellanonians.

The natural habitat of Mallow-Creatures are cool and open nests, but as King lives in a suburban area on Earth they often nest with blankets and pillows.
