"The son of a monstrous Abyssal who was once a beautiful Water, some may look at this dragon and literally go mad. Blacker than oil or ink with random sparkles or marks of gold, his other features are what may get you. First and foremost, his teeth. Azathoth’s head is sharp like an axe with HUGE and almost countless teeth that cannot be covered by what may or may not be his lips. With sword like fangs coming out of gums as black as the rest of him, they look terrifying enough when his mouth is closed. When his mouth opens is a whole new level of horror. Azathoth can open his mouth wider than any normal dragon. To the point that his jaw seems to separate in several places. Giving impressions of a snake, predatory fish, pelican, or anything that can inhale an entire creature whole. Even to the point of stretching his throat with ease as he does so. The fact that he has razor sharp teeth that go all the way down his throat does not help.
If you can get past the horror of his mouth, you see something else that separates him from most dragons. He has many tentacles and tendrils. A beard of tentacles, a mane of tentacles, tentacles along his jaw, his joints, his back, hell in fact his “tail” seems to be just a long mass of tentacles that he can twist together to almost look like a normal tail if he wishes. On his head he has a crown of wicked black and gold horns that twist and weave that look so much like a crown you may forget that if he headbutts anything they WILL be torn and shredded. Even in the tentacles that line his back like an extension of his “mane” hide deadly blades that seem to be able to extend at will.
It is hard to be out of this dragon’s reach. If his tentacles don’t grab you, his long blade like talons will. And if not that, guess what? His black tongue is basically a- you guessed it, tentacle. As huge and lumbering as he seems, if given a reason of any kind, Azathoth can move with surprising speed for a dragon his size. Even in flight his tattered bat-like wings seem so massive they seem too big for him. And when he IS slow, he has the endurance to outlast just about anything. Being a Disruption, he does not need eyesight to find you. And even If you are lucky enough to lose sight of him, his deep booming voice seems so loud and body shaking you can still hear him. His crystal is located near the end of a tentacle located within his mane (attached likely closer to his chest. He keeps this tentacle as hidden as he can). It is a Tiger Eye gem that actually does look like an eye. "
