Aster is a very kind and gentle person who often puts others before himself. He is generally passive and not the type to argue unless it's for a good reason. He may seem shy but he knows how to speak his mind if necessary.
As a partner, he is very romantic, sweet and devoted. He pays close attention to small details and will take note of his girlfriend's likes and needs. As a father he is just as loving and doting but he finds it difficult to be hard on his child and doesn't like to restrict her freedom however he knows when to put his put down without using harshness to protect the people he cherish.

03 — Background
Aster is the youngest son of Altair and Artemisia. He's gifted with musical talent, sensitive hearing and an eidetic memory (although not perfect, his ability to recall is immensely above average).
During his teenage years, he dated a girl named Isabelle. Although the two went to different schools, they met up often and occasionally got up to mischief which was very unlike Aster who appeared to be a very responsible and sensible young man. However, looks can be deceiving, there was still a spark of rebelliousness inside.
Unfortunately, Aster ended up in an accident on a rainy day which caused amnesia and almost complete blindness. Although it wasn't her fault, his older sister blamed the accident on Isabelle out of frustration since he was on his way to see her that fateful day. His family then sent Aster with his sister abroad to study and receive treatment in Europe.
Years later, Aster returned from overseas and reunited with Isabelle by coincidence. Her voice triggered his memory and he was able to slowly regain the memories he lost since before his accident. He also eventually regains his vision after surgery and the first thing he saw was Isabelle's smile.
Aster decides to continue his studies where Isabelle lived rather than move back to Europe so he can be close to her. He is currently a florist and medical student who occasionally plays the piano for clubs and cafés. Although his family is quite wealthy, he chooses not to rely on their help since he believes in being rewarded by working hard.
In the future, he and Isabelle get married and decide to start a family of their own. Unfortunately, the couple lose their first child from a miscarriage which put Isabelle through a lot of grief and depression as she thought it was her fault or divine retribution for the things she had done in the past. Aster felt helpless that he wasn't unable to help his own wife and unborn child and Isabelle needed his support more than ever now so he decided to take a small break from work and studies to support his wife. He was more determined than ever to complete his studies so that he can prevent another tragedy.
Isabelle slowly recovered but was still not emotionally prepared to try for a baby again. Aster understood this and did not pressure her and continued to be her emotional support. As time went on, Isabelle decided she was ready to try again and they were able to successfully deliver a healthy baby girl named Selena, who was born at night and named after the Greek goddess of the moon.

His hobbies are reading, playing piano, writing songs, solving puzzles and baking.

Aster is also the name of a flower which also happens to be his birth month's flower.

He has a pet corgi named Biscuit.

He got his tongue and left ear pierced when he was a teenager. His parents still don't know.

Ex-wife
Aster's highschool sweetheart. They parted ways after his accident which caused amnesia and blindness. Years later, he returned home and regained his memories after hearing her voice again for the first time in so long which filled him with joy. They were finally reunited and Aster would eventually fully regain his vision again after surgery and see her smile again for the first time in many years.

The two eventually marry and try to start a family of their own but lose their first child. After recovering, they try once more and successfully deliver a baby girl named Selena. He associates Isabelle with red roses, tulips and carnations.
Daughter
Aster and Isabelle's future daughter. Aster cherishes Selena as she is their little miracle named after the goddess of the moon. He associates her with white roses, snowdrops and daffodils.
Father
Aster's father. He's a doctor and the partially the reason why Aster chose to study and become a doctor too.
Older sister
Aster's overly protective sister. She's always been protective and a little tough on him since childhood but he knows his big sister means well and only wants to keep him safe.
Sister-in-law
Isabelle's sister and Aster's future sister-in-law. They seem to get along well and he cares for her as if she were his own sister.
Relative
One of Aster's relatives from his father's side who was born in Australia but grew up in South Korea. Not particularly close since they grew up in different parts of the world but they know reach other through family ties.
Family friend
Aster's family friend. They were acquainted through their parents. They're not very close but talk occasionally.
