Windswept Aspen, the Bold

Windswept Aspen is a brave and outgoing cat, always full of energy and willing to go the extra mile to support her comrades in the Court. It would be difficult for anyone, save perhaps the grumpiest of elders, to dislike this warm and friendly cat. However, if anyone does happen to ruffle her fur the wrong way, she is opinionated and stubborn, and unlikely to change her mind on her principles.

Aspen and her twin sister, Birch, were inseparable from birth. Aspen’s more outgoing personality meshed well with Birch’s reserved manner, and they felt they could make up for each other’s weaknesses when together.  

Her loud, helpful nature having endeared her to much of the Court, Windswept Aspen was invited to join Golden Tiger's council as a young warrior. She was comfortable in this role, especially knowing that her sister would always be there to offer an ear and an opinion to her on issues she struggled with. 

Aspen looked up to Golden Tiger and trusted his judgement completely, so when he announced that the Court should be disbanded, she knew it was the right decision to leave with him. She desperately wanted Speckled Birch to accompany them, but she could see how resistant to the idea they were, and Aspen could never bear to force her beloved sister into something they didn't want to do. Although she regretted it, she knew that this was where there paths must diverge. 

Now, in her travels, Aspen thinks of her sister often, but she will not allow herself to regret the decision she made.
