Fuugo Wabuki

Just as famous as Fuugo Wabuki's wheelchair racing career is her outspoken personality, which has netted "The Silver Streak" her fair share of publicity even outside of racing circles. Fuugo is a T34 classified wheelchair racer, as well as a holder of national records in 100 and 200m sprints within the classification. She's even theorized to have broken global speed records at certain events, and she claims that if those records weren't officially recognized, she'll just do it again. The message she wants people to take away from her enthusiasm? Don't let anyone tell you what you can do.

Despite how cheesily bright her talent blurb makes her sound, Fuugo’s actually somewhat toned-down in person. She sincerely tries to get to know people as they really are, and will at least try to find common ground with just about anyone. However, she does have a penchant for being hotheaded and somewhat reckless when it comes to things she cares about, to the point where she’ll blind herself to other people’s opinions if she disagrees with them.

As implied in the talent blurb, Fuugo has cerebral palsy as well as epilepsy. I don’t plan on centering her narrative around her disabilities, and as an abled person I don’t feel it’s my place to. But it’s definitely A Thing, and will be brought up at least once or twice! That said, if there are areas I can improve on while writing her, please let me know!
