Hotaru is a kind and sweet woman who dearly loves to care for things. She is quite an open-minded individual who never seems to care about anything other than personalty.  She is friendly and willing to help anyone in need, she always seems to have a constant smile on her face. She hates to get louder than necessary, she never raises her voice unless it is necessary. She deeply cares for her friends, and cares for everyone. She is known to have a very strong heart, believing to always fight for what you believe in. She is a protector and mother hen of sorts.Her body language is very expressive, and she is not good at hiding her emotions. She is also known to be as stubborn or more so than an ox.

Backstory: 
Being made on an island home to a little town, where she stayed with her friend for many years, guarding the people's land. The village was used for coal, all the resources they had needed were plentiful. After years of peace and wealth, the resources had started to die out. So the people of the village started one-day packing and moving off the island. Not understanding the situation the two waited and waited for the people to come back. Hotaru's friend was starting to lose hope and will after time she withered away, leaving Hotaru alone. After the years of waiting, they started to take a toll on her leaving her to start degrading until a man, another Shishi, came onto the island. Filling up with some hope Hotaru left her statue to meet him, upon meeting each other a spark was started. Being together on the island for quite alwhile together, until Kenta proposed to Hotaru that they should leave the island and come with him. Going out and exploring different places, and lands until they came across an island called Night Paradise. Learning that it was an island home to the supernatural, Hotaru and Kenta decided to live there. Setting up shop next together with an animal daycare and a pet shop, they got married and are currently living a happy life together.
