Muna Zilver

Muna was born in a lonely research-facility in the cold desert of Solitas. As the daughter of two scientists researching Aura and it's properties in the middle of nowhere, there were hardly any kids her age around. Except for her little brother Aster. Since a young age those two were inseparable. As a result, it was the more devastating, when he was diagnosed with a rare illness, where his own Aura gradually weakened him.
That shattered a world for Muna. Since they were small, they watched the Huntsmen guarding the facility in their daily business. Patrolling the area, slaying Grimm and telling the two of them heroic stories about their work. Because of that, Aster and Muna, too wanted to become just like them and eventually attend one of the Huntsmen Academies together. Now this dream seemed farther than ever.
Sooner or later the family was forced to move back to Atlas, because, now being forced to stay in bed or use a wheelchair all the time, Asters health state didn't seem to get any better. This change was the beginning of a very hard time for Muna. Now any attention put on her by her family disappeared. Her mother began submerging herself in her research and Muna sometimes wouldn't see her for several days. On top of that, the girl had to change from home-schooling to a public combat school, now being exposed to many teenagers her age. As a shy girl, that hardly had any contact with children her age, she had a hard time making friends. As a result, she spent most of her time alone.
Shortly afterwards, Muna received the message, that she was accepted to Beacon Academy. At first, she was hesitant to accept, as she wanted to attend alongside Aster, but he reassured her to go. As soon as he's better, he'd join her.

Beacon Academy (17~20)

When she got onto Beacon, she was determined to make new friends. She finally wanted to come out of her shell and to not be alone anymore. She soon found, that she was good at helping and could receive attention and gratitude as a result.
Muna tried to change. Helping people around her as much as possible while being friendly and low maintenance. Thanks to this behavior, she was soon able to make many "friends". But she rarely got anything back. At first, this wasn't a problem, as long as she felt being liked, everything would be fine. But over time, and through her team's encouragements, she realized that she was only being taken advantage of, albeit far too late. Many of these supposedly "friends" left her alone as soon as she no longer helped out without ifs and buts. It hurt Muna to see how many people who she thought were friends, turning their backs on her. However, she is even more grateful to the people who stayed by her side. Those people are deserving of her support.
At the back of her mind, though, there is still concern for her brother Aster, whose health doesn't seem to be improving...
