Comes off as cold but has a big heart for those in need.
Derrick was in an accident when he was younger that left him with severe burns, blindness in his right eye and a broken left arm that never healed properly.
He also has a weak immunine system and gets sick often as well as an undiagnosible disease that causes him to have a very weak body that can sometimes result in him coughing up blood.
