He is very haughty, stubborn and a bit controlling. He knows where he stands and is not afraid to use his position to get what he wants. Not as spoiled as Amra, he is still use to getting what he wants but actually has to work for it most of the time whereas Amra only has to pout to get her way. He can be cunning and enjoys the game of politics, often able to get others wrapped around his finger in only a few meetings. He is patient, able to wait until the correct moment to speak or act so the situation turns to his favor. He does not get angry easily, having been taught as a child to control anger for anger causes people to make mistakes.

Duke is the only son and Prince of his royal family. His family is the rival to Amra's family and they have been set to marry for political reasons. He at first despised Amra, finding her annoying and spoiled. But over time, he has come to be fond of her, finding some traits of hers to be worthwhile.
