Lei Feng

Lei Feng was once the servant of a prosperous merchant family. He was always very loyal and also quite fond of the two sons the head of the family had. He had been the caretaker of both since they were small. Unfortunately, they were also finding that their prosperity was starting to decline and when an accident took the lives of the young children's parents when the eldest was only 16 and the younger 10, the rest of the family fought for the inheritance. Due to this, the older brother took himself and his younger brother away, with Lei following faithfully in their stead to continue taking care of them as per their parents' wish.

One day, while the elder brother was out late training his swordsmanship, a cursed being came after his younger brother. Lei managed to fight it off but at the cost of his life. They had thought him dead for a time but instead, he returned to them a reborn being. Needless to say, they were shocked but eventually accepted the truth (as Kitsune were seen as tricksters in their nation) and allowed Lei to stay with them. The three of them never really had much but Lei stayed with the two until the days they both died.

Left without masters, Lei Feng stayed to take care of their little household, unsure of where to take his life from here as he seemed to apparently now be immortal. He loyally stayed until one day, two gods took pity upon him and offered him new masters to serve; them. They had a resemblance to the children he had once so diligently taken care of and as such, knowing they would not want him to waste away here, he accepted the proposal. He now serves the sibling gods of Wind and Water as their faithful servant.

Lei Feng is a very diligent and loyal servant who is faithful only to the one(s) he has pledged his loyalty to. He does not obey anyone other than his masters and the ones his masters tell him to obey. He is calm but fierce, like a hurricane with its calm central being. He seems to judge all who approach his masters but once they are accepted by his masters, he can be calm and friendly. He is not anti-social and he does smile and hang out with other servants or people but he is most typically seen at his masters' sides unless told to be elsewhere by them.
