Null

Null is a deity-class entity who rules over a magically inclined world in which people can command various aspects of magic, and about half the population are humanoid dragons capable of shape-shifting between humanoid and full draconic forms. The world was torn apart by a massive civil war amongst the elements, but now has settled down with the direct intervention of Null himself into a relative peace. Null rules over the world in a more personal sense now, overseeing the state of things from the castle in its center, managing the politics by having meetings with the leaders of each elemental territory. Each dragon, aside from Null himself, has colored scales according to their aspect- Null is the only white dragon, because he affiliates with no territory, and all of the elements. His color changes based upon his mood, but the default color is white. Because of his more involved role in his world, he is revered and respected by his people and unanimously believed in, unlike most other deity-class entities. 

Personally, Null is very reserved, often keeping his own feelings private save the few occasions when they leak out and display on his scales. He is dutiful and takes his job of managing the realm extremely seriously, but despite this strong sense of duty and justice, he is deeply compassionate and caring, a divide which often tears at him when he must inflict punishment or make other harsh decisions. He's constantly trying to do his best, but his involved role in society leaves him often drained and stressed, so while he tries to act with good intentions in mind, he's sometimes unable to execute them correctly. His desire to please everyone also causes trouble when he sometimes sacrifices the best option in order to please the most people, often causing more trouble than good. In interactions he's soft-spoken and mild-mannered, but aware of his position of power. He's constantly running late to meetings, even though he doesn't have to sleep, because he's scheduled completely with meetings almost every minute of the day down to the night hours. He rarely gets time for himself, but doesn't mind much as long as everything is in order. He comes across as very pure, but not unsuspecting. He's aware of the darkness in the world, but is himself spotless. Null understands that he makes mistakes, and he wants to do better, but it's hard for him because of how quickly he got involved in his world- he didn't give himself enough time to mature and grow as a deity before becoming a person, and now juggling the two identities takes a heavy toll on him.

Null loves flowers, his creations and magic. He's a good-natured person, but his desire to satisfy everyone often leaves him breathless.
