Personality: Josie's a likable guy if you don't know him well. He's shameless, generous, and great fun at parties; there's almost nothing he won't try once, nothing that fazes or unsettles him. He's oddly charismatic, equal parts ridiculous and obscene. Lots of people want to be friends with Josie - because, by God, can you imagine being his enemy?
He has a real good sense of humor, too. He finds almost everything hilarious, has a finely-tuned sense of the absurd. He's deceptively easy-going, surprisingly relaxed in situations where one might expect him to show a little fang. But though his temper's difficult to raise, he tends towards extreme lessons. Josie is capable of truly horrifying savagery, committing heinous acts as casually as another man might read the paper. What he's capable of overlays his joking manner in a transparent veneer. It's intimidating, even without all his looming and leering. He's got a way of wording things that make them as intimately disturbing as an unwanted caress. He gets nasty quickly, crooning the violent and the vulgar in the same breath.
Appearance: Josie is a big man - a real big man, both muscular and tall. Honestly, the man is a walking slab of muscle. A really good-looking slab of muscle, hey, let's not forget that. He's handsome and yet at the same time disgusting - his thick neck, his huge grin, the sluggish track of long tongue over his lips - they seem to do something to people. For some reason he comes off as unsettling.
