A sunny, energetic, larger than life young Shetland, the petite Evelyn "Evie" Swann left her parents' old hometown with its well manicured lawns and pristine gardens close to Swann Estate to the colourful lights, swaying palms and ocean breezes of the coast. There she found herself a home in a large, old 80's style van that she converted into a small, but cosy beach house. She spends her days surfing, practicing yoga and working in the Arts and Crafts Center where she makes crystal trinkets for a living.
She lives a modest life, but she's never been happier. Nicknamed "Lotus" by the local beach-goers for her love of the same flower, Evie does her best to not let the world faze her, and does what she wants with her life.
