Sootleg

Sootleg has her moments of unbridled sarcasm and sharpness, but is a gentle soul with a heart of gold and an upbeat aura about her. The ThunderClan she-cat has incredible patience that seems like it sometimes lasts endlessly, and she is a strong, secure shoulder to lean or cry on for whomever may need her. Her emotional strength is impressive and she rarely seems short of a smile in public, with a powerful and comforting sense of warmth. She's a lover and a maternal spirit through and through, and has the tendencies of a dreamer; she loves the stars, the weather, nature, and most of all to imagine, sometimes slipping away into little scenarios and other worlds or memories inside her head. Sootleg does her best to see the best in everyone and every situation, especially after the accident that shredded one of her legs and left her injured for the rest of her life. Despite her soft and kind nature, the she-cat isn't quiet. She enjoys being social and is innocent sometimes to a fault, struggling to tell the difference between emotions and what others' intentions are with her. She's also not afraid to give anyone a piece of her mind, and her outspoken tendencies sometimes go too far or don't have any sort of filter. Sootleg is a spitfire although she is gentle, with an incredibly sharp tongue and a temper. She always feels awful about herself when she can tell she's overstepped a line, however, and she's very in tune with her strong and sensitive emotions but not always in control of them. The ThunderClan she-cat prefers to suffer silently and usually hides herself away for small periods of time when she's feeling upset, but always shows little signs of affection and regret to apologize for her fiery spirit. She's the same way when she sometimes falls into slumps about her aforementioned injury and how useless she occasionally feels because of it, hiding herself away to not become a burden even if her loved ones really want to help and support her. These bad moods typically happen because of how hard Sootleg pushes herself to prove that she is good enough, often attempting tasks that are next to impossible or at least extremely difficult for her to accomplish that usually lead to failure. She's afraid to give up, to be perceived as weak or unworthy, and her mental state obviously declines when she's met with something she can't do.
