Rhonwen is a high elf from a prominent family of abjuration wizards. She was sent to Cindergale Academy by her parents to become an abjuration wizard and to do as her family expected. However, as soon as they left, she did what she wanted to an majored in divination. Her minor is in conjuration, and her extra curriculars grant her access to warlock spells and school sanctioned necromancy. Rhonwen is not prone to interacting with others unless forced. Given her current situation with her parents, it's very likely that, had she not met her group of friends, she would have become a dark mage.

Arc One Rhonwen was born to Mabon and Eirlys Moonweaver. The Moonweaver family are a high elf abjuration family. Rhonwen is considered a minor noble, her Great Grandfather a member of the High Elf Council, a governmental body that controls high elf territory. Her Mother and Father disowned her sister for being transgender, and so Rhonwen is under pressure as the second eldest child. Although Rhonwen knows she will inevitably betray her parents as a lesbian, Rhonwen feels torn between leaving her family forever to help her older sister Tesni, or to stay an bare the burden of her parents' ire so her younger siblings have someone to lean on. Rhonwen, caving under the weight, chose neither of those options and enrolled in Cindergale Academy.
