Coro is the leader of a group called TA, a band of mercenaries with the goal of bettering the world around them. They take on jobs ranging from helping an old lady cross the street, to overthrowing a corrupt government.

Coro has been around for hundreds of years, closing in on a thousand years of age. To preserve his age and keep himself from growing too old, Coro invented a form of technology called Radix, and uses a rare chemical compound called Divinium to power his body. In his earlier years, Coro was able to handle jobs mostly on his own, as the Divinium powering his body enhanced his power a godlike status, but as the years went on, the effects of Divinium on his body began to dwindle. Similar to a drug, the more that Radix is used on a person, the less and less of an effect it will have. So instead of focusing on power, Coro now has to focus on keeping himself from aging with Divinium, and relies mostly on his team of mercenaries to handle jobs for him.
