Tropica "Pica" is a slime girl who was smuggled from deep jungle into a modern city, to be used as a replenishable delicacy on the black market. She managed to escape due to fractured transportation box, and met Hai. Due to the odd situation and coincidences, she ended up living at Hai's house where she wrecks havoc like a housecat who can actually talk back. She herself is not quite aware of her tragic past, all she knows is that she was just boxed one day and now she's in this world full of very weird things.
She's pretty quick to learn things she takes interest in, but can be bad executing them. For example she understands spoken language mostly well, but speaks in very broken tone herself ("Oh that a box of picture is? Little human, trapped inside talking?"). She's very curious by nature and likes learning everything new, even when she doesn't really get it most of the time.
As a slimegirl she is rather slow, and thus doesn't mind being trapped inside a house most of the time. She can grow and shrink to an extent just based by how well she has "eaten" - anything inside of her will slowly be dissembled into more slime, but the acidity is really slow. This is why she prefers mostly small foods like seeds, or more liquid forms of food that can be broken more easily. If you were to put your hand inside of her, at best you'd feel slight tingling and it would take multiple hours before any kind of harsher damage could be seen on your skin.

Trivia
She speaks in broken lingo, but there's method to the madness. Namely, she will always prioritise saying the most important word first, second important second etc. This is why most of her sentences begin with "Hai"
Watches soap opera while Hai is at work. She mostly remembers characters by what they've eaten, maybe if they did something interesting. Her favorite is the Peachlady.
Actually getting smarter by living with Hai, because she doesn't have to use energy on just hunting and surviving, so instead is using it to grow brain cells. She will reinvent agriculture just watch.
