Sapphire

Sapphire is the shy, curious, forgetful shopkeeper running her father's jewellery business. She's fascinated with precious stones, crystallum chunks and even the occasional fossil that is brought to her shop. She can tell you a wealth of information about any stone you bring her, though she'll mostly focus on the stone rather than you. Like any good raccoon, she's deeply curious and a bit grabby.

She spends much of her time indoors, either behind the counter in the shop or huddled up in her apartment upstairs, reading a good book. It's not that she's not fond of nature, she simply prefers the comfy things in life. Not to mention the fact that talking to others tends to take a lot out of her, and there's less risk of that indoors..

She lives with her father, who resides in the apartment on the opposite side of the top floor from hers. He's a grouchy old man who retired a year or two ago, but he means well and loves his daughter. They eat meals together in a shared dining room, discussing future business plans and life in general. He wants her to find a good husband and settle down in the home he'd purchased further out in the residential part of Caerpinwyd to start a family, but she doesn't quite feel ready for that.
