About

A Skiploom that attends Fantasy High! April arrived as a freshman, bald of hair, but bright in smiles and laughter. She quickly leaned into the DnD club and its fun nature, creating an OC she herself wish had the life of. The club's gimmick of turning into your OC delighted her when she found out and now goes into the fantasy world to vent frustrations and do some good. Her OC, when sentient, is one of her closest friends and most likely the one the knows her best.

In school, April sleeps during class and barely passes her exams. She is a member of the baseball club, originally as just another body to keep the club open but then became a pinch hitter for the team. She likes the people in the club but is struggling with quitting to pursue her passion for soccer and try out for the soccer team again despite failing the tryouts the year before.

Personality

April is an optimistic Skiploom that likes to believe in the best outcome of a situation for everyone. She is inclusive in large groups of people to create good moments for everyone. However due to being pushy about good feelings and forcing good interactions, she comes off as naive and airheaded due to the lack of recognition of other's feelings.

Although she comes off as a bright lil piece of sunshine with no worries, April is rather observant of other's feelings in a situation and their demanor. However she may choose to ignore it if it'd make a bigger deal than the situation called, or may bring attention to her. She shies away from the spotlight due to a sense of insecurity and worthlessness because she believes she doesnt have any value other than progressing the lives of others. She'd guarded regarding her problems and has only shared few worries with those she trusts the most to not hate her. Although she does not value her own desires or wants, she does not like being viewed as a fragile innocent flower that needs to be taken care of, however will use the facade to her own advantage to manipulate a situation in her favor. She's not intelligent academically but she does have social prowness.

Design notes

April is a Skiploom anthro with long blonde hair. Her eyes are pink with a yellow highlight/flimmer. When she blushes it's a dark green or blue rather than red. Her flower is propped to the side instead of middle of the head. She pins her Skiploom ears back to avoid getting in the way. Her body shape is pear shaped, and she has larger thighs than she would like.
