Qi Yuanjun

Qi Yuanjun, a member of the liyue qixing.  He holds the title of Tianxuan amongst his fellow seven. Despite having so many responsibilities thrown at him, he's a very carefree person. Of course that comes with consequences. He is often seen in the streets of Liyue harbor, walking along with the common folk. There has been times where he tried to run away from his work. Ganyu (Tianquan secretary) always had to find him and get him back to his duties. She may not seem like it but Yuanjun fears Ganyu.

Till this day, he continues to protect liyue.

Yuanjun is a very cunning young man who honesty has no sense of reality. He finds himself joking about many things as he struggles to get past them. He feels that he's always a burden to other people and no matter who he comes across, they'll always end up finding something wrong with him, and disappearing. Yuanjun refuses to accept the fact that someone in the world will like him for him and want nothing in return. 

As time passes, he starts to become more insecure... he goes into a state where he tries doing everything for other people's validation, he even tries out make up and things that would make him feel accepted in society. Unfortunately, everything made him go fragile. If anyone commented negatively on how he looked or acted, it would hurt him immensely. Of course he wouldn't show it, he's supposed to be a strong man who protects Liyue and children should look up to him... so his last resort is making fun of himself and acting like its never anything serious. He always felt so alone even though there was so many people around him. He had trouble gaining confidence, motivation and seeing the world outside of social structure. Yuanjun still struggles with believing that the people around him genuinely love him.

 He got his vision the moment he found himself. He realized that it didn't matter how people saw him, all that mattered was that he was seen. He gained confidence and now many people look up to him, he considers himself to be his own "art piece" What they won't tell you is, gaining confidence isn't easy. He wished upon celestia and for this confidence, he was cursed. His ability to feel sadness or sorrow slowly disappeared. He was left with a resting smile. Expressing sadness felt like an unknown emotion, what replaced it was anger. He couldn't help but get angry when he felt the need to cry. His tears had gone dry. Many people respect him but many others think he's insane as he's usually a cheery, careless egoistic man. People think he can't feel empathy and all he knows how to do is laugh, like the people who laughed at him. He wishes he could run away from reality which is why he's often away from his responsibilities and... well, fooling around.

Yuanjun sees his vision as both a gift and a burden. Giving away his ability to feel an emotion to only feel another?
