Bowenite is a gem void of a duty, instead he is kept in the shadows of the Empire away from the public knowledge. The reason for this? Bowenite was created directly by Garden Green Diamond as their fourth gem ever. His original purpose under Garden Green was meant to be an entertainer who was supposed to work alongside Snake Eye Green Jadeite, though his grumpy demeanor makes him rather bad at it. So, he was given to White Snowy Diamond and went with her when she split off to form her Empire. While Variscite might be in the public eye, Bowenite is not and he is the one who Snowy tells everything about the Eden Faction to.

- His relationship with Variscite is terrible. The two barely get along despite being created by the same diamond. Bowenite hates Variscite’s desire to find Garden Green.
- Bowenite’s Pearl, Moss Pearl, is someone he’d rather not have around. He wants a custom pearl, not one that was thrown away.
- As antisocial as he is, he enjoys the conversation he has with Snowy and frankly is very jealous of her Rose Quartz partner.
