Many years after Pink Diamond was.. "shattered" the Diamonds decided they needed to fill the gab that she left. They used two hope diamond starters, one for the main and one just in case. However they rushed the progress, causing the two to merge. Becoming the Hope Twins. Yellow hated this, having an "imperfect" diamond is a crime in itself. But Blue, who was still mourning Pink, didnt want to shatter her. This caused many fights between the two..
