Ian is a sweet, kindhearted, and sensitive person, though he's got standoffish tendencies and a sharp wit hidden beneath his soft nature and mild disposition, that he's rarely afraid to use it on those who deserve it. He's become a bit cynical and jaded due to the bullying he's experienced growing up, that has extended into his adulthood, as he's been stuck around the same shitty people. Ian is gentle and patient to those he cares for, even if he can come across as aloof and a little pretentious to those he doesn’t.

His best friend is the Mysterious No Name Girl, and they have been close since they were kids. Ian has a YouTube channel, where he uploads his homemade guitar and ukulele tutorials, and if you meet him, he will happily go on long, rambling tangents about whatever holds his interests, if you think to ask. You can usually find Ian working on scripts for his YouTube tutorials at Caliber Coffee, birdwatching, and enjoying the odd true crime podcast. He's got a complicated relationship with the city he grew up in, and the No Name Girl. He loves both, but he's not sure either is good for him.

Ian is fairly short, at 5"2, and he's quite fat. This, paired with fluffy light brown hair, and large, sad looking baby blue eyes that are spaced "a little too far apart", gives him the appearance of a stuffed animal. He has a sharply pointed nose, and crooked, incisor like teeth, leading people to more often compare him to a rat. His fluffy, light brown hair is parted over his forehead in a way that gives the divide a heart-like shape. He has very careful, dexterous hands, and an observant edge in his pale eyes.

Relationships

Ian's parents got divorced, and both remarried, resulting in two younger step sisters on his mother's side. Ian's best friend is the No Name Girl, who he's known since high school, and has had a crush on for years that he is trying desperately to get over, as he knows the feelings aren't mutual. Fortunately, he has recently met Pixy, and thinks he may have a shot with her, as she is one of the few people he's met who makes him feel seen and heard.
