Well known amongst locals as being a new Neu's tour guide to life, Trip is the first person that these supernatural beings meet once they're freshly spawned. He might not dress the part of a role model, but his charitable nature and positive attitude go hand-in-hand as he believes nobody is inherently evil.
His need to care for others often leads him to puts his own needs on the back burner.
This self imposed civil duty may be holding him back from his own dreams.

About
Seemingly born with a series of eccentricities and weird interests; Trip is nothing but grateful for his supportive parents, who would let him indulge in anything that caught his eye, so long as he grew up to be kind and responsible. Even as an adult, he doesn't have a particularly conventional lifestyle, as he's the only community service worker who specializes in handling & integrating new Neus into society. He keeps a casual attitude and dress code in his work, coming across as more of a friend than a counselor. When allowed to be free, he can be mischevious daredevil, getting into all sorts of reckless high energy activities, pranks, and thrills for fun.
Trip's commitment comes from his belief that nobody is inherently evil; but misinformation, desperation, or pain can cause anyone to take a dark turn. This does come at his own expense as Trip can be selfless to a fault - whether that involves holding himself back from expressing frustrations or approaching an enemy that's out of his league.
Abilities
- Incredibly agile and has high dexterity.
Trip thinks well on his feet, quickly noticing details from his enemies and able to adjust to changing surroundings. He can work with a myriad of terrains & obstacles with grace, including steep falls and wide jumps. - An Aether user with a proficiency in pyromancy. He can only cast flames through his right arm and uses his belts as a channeling medium to extend his range.
- Though not formally trained in sorcery, he has potential to be a strong magus due to his confidence & willpower alone.
Design Notes
- Has a typical "runner's body" where he is thin and long legged, with a wide upper body.
His lats are large, relative to the rest of his body type, from using his arms a lot for parkour. - His arm tattoos glow in a fiery way when using his pyromancy skills.
The light from it also seeps out the seams of his sleeve's armband.- The tips of his hair do not glow, but they can catch stray Aether "flames" and smoulder.
Due to its magical property, this doesn't cause any damage to him.

- Trip is an emo kid at heart, despite his wardrobe taking a sportier look these days.
The sigil on his shirt is a symbol of Mother CODA, who is this universe's equivalent of the Grim Reaper. - It is disputed as to whether Trip is human or a Neu due to his use of Aether being an anomaly for the former. He doesn't care what others think he is so long as they're not invasive and try to "screen" him to confirm it.
- The Spanish speaker that types all his "hahaha"s as "jajaja". He has little 'isms that come up from being bilingual.
- He does not know much about tattoos or even where he got his - strange!
- Supposedly he had it even before he was 18, he spent his teen years covering up that arm with warmers and long sleeved shirts, to not tip off the law.
- Associates being called by his real name (Trevor) with getting in trouble or tense formal situations.
- His nickname came from others' endearment of his eccentric nature, as well as the particular type of pants he wears.
