"Hero"

Trivia:

• Having been born in Yokote, his childhood memory consists mostly of the snow festivals taking place there.
• He is 9 years older than his younger brother, Schwarzer.
• Scared to the death of the Namahage since seeing it as a child. Even though he later learns it was a man inside a costume, that dosn't make it less terrifying.
• Has been taught English and a bilingual since a young age, but his r's and l's still slips every now and again.
• His mother's maiden name is Shion Yukikaze.
• His father, Adelbert, was a soldier in the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) with the rank Wing-Commander before becoming a researcher in mims technology upon moving to America.
• Adelbert moved into Shion's house in Akita upon getting married, when Hero turned 8, they moved to Tokyo, where Schwarzer was born a year later.
• Back in Japan, he would be called 'Yuuki' by his friends at school. The reason for this is he misread the way his kanji name was spoken when he was 4, and it just... stuck.
• Excels at physics and math, but absolutely hopeless at biology. history, and languages other than English and German.
• Has a habit of calling people by their last name, even close friends.
• Wanted to be a cosmologist, but had to give it up and dropped out of college when his parents died in a car accident when he was 18.
• A genius at programming, but regards it as nothing more than a hobby. His only true passion lies in understanding the universe and its contents.
• Actually had quite a bit of friends back in Japan, but doesn't seem to blend well in an American high school.
• Has high tolerance for the cold.
