Epsilon is a quiet and amicable sort of fella that harbours a bit of a dark secret...
He’s infected with an alien parasite that has increased his already high metabolism, so he’s constantly starving and at the verge of blacking out when he gets into a feeding frenzy state.
Being a bit on the clueless side, he actually has no idea something’s wrong with him due to having no memory of ever being infected, so he just assumes he’s hungry from running around the ship/base sorting out the damaged electronics.

While the trail of death that follows him should mark him as a suspect, no one would be able to tell that the sweet loving gentle giant of the group (that faints at the thought of blood no less), would ever be capable of such gruesome actions.
