Willow has experience working on and off film sets, having been responsible for the spooktacular hairstyles seen in movies such as My White Lady and Seance at Tiffany’s, as well as on the blood red carpet of Sleepy Hollowwood. His infamous shop Le Chop Shop is a must know for any ghoul who claims to be up-to-death with fashion trends. Although he’s often booked out for decades in advance, he makes sure that his regulars always receive the utmost care during every visit.
There’s some talk beyond the grave that he’s currently developing his own line of hair scare products.

As a Specter (aka. Poltergeist, Phantom, or Vengeful Spirit), Willow is a soul that's cursed to haunt the mortal realm. His kind are usually bound to the places they’ve frequented in life, but he’s a bit of a special case. Due to the nature of his curse, the human features of his face have long been lost and he’s free to roam the Earth to his undead heart’s content.
Willow's ghastly physique comes with a couple quirks. As a matter of fact, he doesn’t need to sleep, eat or drink, but chooses to anyway. Where does all the ingested substance go? It’s a myst. He can only 'taste' things that are strongly flavored - according to him, sour items give the best tingles. It is said that touching his jaw without consent is ill-adviced, as one will get cursed. However, it's more likely just a rumor to keep touchy ghouls at bay. His ‘hair’ is made of a wispy, smoke-like substance, which is constantly moving in a non-existent breeze. He's able to manipulate it to a certain extent, i.e. to showcase various hairstyles for his clients.
Ever since Willow left his flesh cage behind, he came in the possession of a couple phantasmagorical powers.

Willow can switch between a solid and incorporeal body at will. It comes with limited shapeshifting, such as dislocation, removal or addition of (existing) body parts, and clothing projection. Just like any ghostly apparition, he can turn invisible as well. | With one touch, he’s able to imbue an object with his spiritual energy and move them as if by an invisible hand. Great for spooking unsuspecting mortals, greater for when you need an extra hand dealing with Medusa’s scaly locks. Above all else, Willow is a gentleman. Well-versed in courtesy and etiquette, you'd never catch him using foul language or committing a social faux pax in public. He separates strictly between business and private life, seldom allowing his personal feelings to influence the treatment of his clients. That being said, he's mastered the art of silent threats judgement and stating his opinion politely when he needs to. Willow wouldn't have succeeded in the fast-paced and competitive field of his work if not for the ability to stand his ground without inciting unnecessary conflict. Although not considered old for a monster, he has his fair share of life experiences, many of which taught him to face any challenge with grace and composure.

Willow is a specter who has a tendency to reminisce about the past. It's not very obvious on the surface, but rather expressed through the way he cares about his possessions and long-time relationships. He likes to keep things immaculate and checks up on his old friends regularly, finding comfort in set routines. He's sensitive to the smallest errors and deviations, a trait that can be frustrating as much as it is helpful. It's no surprise then that he might come off as too strict and uptight. Willow is not completely without humor, however. His jokes and teasing jabs are usually delivered in a deadpan manner, which might catch witnesses off-guard.

Perhaps not too surprisingly, Willow is an avid believer of 'an eye for an eye'. He won't confront a troublemaker in an inelegant manner if there are other means to make them pay. In the same vein, he assumes the worst of people - especially so in the entertainment industry - and doesn't open up easily. Most often, he'll only share personal information that, in his personal belief, cannot be turned against him. Likewise, emotional appeals don't work on him and he may come off as cold-hearted. Indeed, he claims that he's not cut out to deal with heart-to-hearts. However, it's a miscalculation to assume that he has no temper at all. Since it's hard to get a read on his emotions, there's the odd chance that one wrong move or word could trigger him.

| The place Willow has been calling his home since he moved to Bewarely Hills. A definitely not haunted, four-story mansion refurbished in upper-class Victorian style, complete with an English poison garden and a hedge maze. The interior is reminiscent of his former family home, except grander and stuffed with many more eerie novelties and collector's items. The cellar houses a collection of exquisite wines, and possibly a hidden dungeon built by the previous owner. Vintage cars that range from Oldtimer to Rolls Royce occupy the spacious garage. There's supposedly an attic that nobody else but Willow is allowed to enter. | A high-end hair salon located on Fear Street, Le Chop Shop is known for its authentic gothic decor and competent staff. Dealing with all kinds of ghoulish clients, it's equipped with the latest devices and products of the century. Although walk-ins are welcomed, it is adviced to make a seance call in advance if you'd like to book a specific scaredresser. VIPs may enjoy spooky privileges such as being the first to try out new products, discounts on head and tentacle massages, flexible scheduling, and many more. The VIP lounge offers snacks and tea for the duration of the clients' stay as well. |
