Val

Valentine is one of the many criminals for hire to have a boom in business since the discovery of nonhuman life on Earth. The few humans who know of his kind see him as an opportunity to fix their problems with little to no repercussions. Val graciously accepts this role, as he is something of a suck-up. His ability to shift helps him make quick getaways, however, he is incapable of fully disguising himself as human without a spell from a being of higher magical prowess. Despite his eagerness to work for anyone who will pay, he isn't big on company and so usually hides away from the world until it's time for a heist, but has recently become strangely attached to another catfolk who he met while trapped in a cat cafe. They spend a lot of time together, and Valentine has even found himself growing rather fond. His last relationship of this kind ended with him losing one of his nine lives, so he is a little cautious, but can't seem to help feeling at ease around Bo.
