5 NFC Pedestals that resemble Joy-Con sticks dot the stage, if you shoot them they wobble like them.
As soon as a player step on one of these pedestals, a chamber pops up and protects the player from all attacks for 5 seconds. During these 5 seconds, the NFC sensor on the controller turns on giving the player an opportunity to scan an Amiibo. When an Amiibo is scanned, it transforms the pedestal into one of many mechanics, depending on what Amiibo was scanned.
If no Amiibo is scanned, the chamber goes down making the player vulnerable to attacks.
